Sample program: 5-day Red Sea Diving Safari (from Eilat, Israel)
DAY 1- Meet 06:00 AM at Eilat diving center for light breakfast, final equipment check, and departure for the Israel/Egypt border at Taba. Drive 80 km. south along the Red Sea coast to Nueiba for our first dive. Overnight Dahab. DAY 2- Get up at sunrise for short hike and breakfast in the desert. First dive of the day at "Common Market", lunch and snorkel at the "Blue Hole" followed by our second dive at "Abu Hillel". Overnight in the desert under the stars with Bedouin dinner. DAY 3- Swim at the "Mangroves" or two dives at "Ras-el-Tantur", return north to Dahab where we eat and sleep in the Bedouin village. DAY 4- 05:00 AM wake up and drive to meeting point with camels, eat breakfast, load our diving equipment onto the camels, and ride along the Sinai Red Sea coast to sites unreachable by jeep. Our first dive is at the magnificent "Gaber-el-Bint" reef, followed by tasty Bedouin fish lunch and second dive. 14:00 return to Dahab by camel and taxi for overnight. DAY 5- Sunrise dive at the "Canyon" followed by a second dive at "Ricks Reef"- a 400m. stretch of reef, rich in corals and sea life. After lunch, opportunity to shower and relax before returning to the Taba border and Eilat.
