Join Zach Shavin, veteran guide and archaeologist for a day into the Negev desert highlands, in the footsteps of Abraham & Patriarchs and Moses & Exodus. Our first stop is Tel Beersheba excavations where archaeologists have uncovered the deepest biblical well in the country. On south into the Negev Highlands we visit kibbutz Sde Boker, where David Ben Gurion, founder of Israel, lived. Drive down into the Nahal Tzin Canyon in the footsteps of Moses and Exodus, walk between the high white chalk canyon walls to Ein Mor spring and waterfall, home to wild ibex mountain goats. An optional camel ride is next before continuing on to Avdat, a 2000 year old camel caravan city on the Nabatean Spice Road from southern Arabia to the Mediterranean. Learn about how they survived and flourished in the desert   Drive to the Ramon Crater a geological phenomenon unique to Israel
